Financial Aid Offer

What is the financial aid offer?

The financial aid offer is not a bill, but it contains important information for financing your education. You must file a FAFSA to receive a financial aid offer.

The financial aid offer is a summary of your financial aid and overall estimated costs for attending Temple University. It provides a breakdown of the gift aid and other aid you are eligible to receive. The offer also contains your estimated cost of attendance, which provides an estimate of your education-related expenses (tuition, fees, housing, books, etc.).

Accessing Your Financial Aid Offer

Your financial aid offer will be available in TUportal within the Costs & Aid tab under the SFS channel.

  • Accepted to Temple before mid-February: Your offer letter will be available in mid-February.
  • Accepted to Temple after mid-February: Your offer letter will be available within two weeks of your admission to Temple University.
